Donate TODAY to help us continue providing accessible, empowering & free legal services to our clients!

For the first 14 months of the COVID-19 pandemic, we at Santa Fe Dreamers Project were able to continue to deliver our services uninterrupted thanks to an influx in emergency grant funding. Unfortunately, one of the negative effects of the pandemic has been a significant decline of 68% in individual giving to SFDP, which historically has made up about 40% of our yearly operating budget. Simultaneously, due to the favorable federal court ruling on DACA at the end of last year as well as the change in the federal administration, we have seen a sharp increase for our services, and unfortunately, donations are not keeping pace with the demand. We are now in the difficult position of having to reduce spending and temporarily suspend the opening of new cases in order to focus on fundraising so that we can continue to provide excellent immigration legal services to our clients for years to come.

We are launching a community fundraiser to help bridge the gap in our funding and we need YOUR support to bring crucial immigration legal services to those who need them most! Please DONATE and SHARE our fundraiser TODAY to help ensure a brighter tomorrow for our clients and our organization: bit.ly/SupportSFDP.

Santa Fe Dreamers Project provides free legal services to immigrants and refugees to promote economic empowerment, community development, family unity, and liberation from detention. Our work is centered around the belief that supporting immigrants makes our whole community stronger. We are committed to representing every qualified immigrant who walks through our doors, to using service strategies that expand vulnerable peoples’ access to legal counsel, and helping to elevate the voices and narratives of immigrants in our community to support positive reform.

We help hundreds of people with their cases through small grants and the generosity of people who also believe in our clients. Your donation allows us to provide our services free of charge to our clients and will ensure that young immigrants and their families continue to receive the high quality representation they deserve.
