SUMMARY: Santa Fe Dreamers Project is hiring  an attorney to work on the following projects and have the following responsibilities:

  • FAMILY  PROGRAM: Santa Fe Dreamers Project is seeking to expand our ability to provide free legal services in the areas of Adjustment of Status, Naturalization, and I-601A Waivers. While we currently file a small number of cases in this area, this staff attorney will be given considerable creative license in designing a family program that is consistent with our mission and values.

  • U-VISA CASE LOAD: This staff attorney will be expected to assist our lead U-Visa attorney in our considerable U-Visa case load. We have a very long waiting list and ambitious goals for the volume of cases we will handle.

  • OTHER DUTIES: Attorney will have an opportunity to participate on an ad-hoc basis in a wide variety of cases based on his or her interest (SIJ,, T-Visa, etc), but especially political asylum cases and work in the Cibola prison.  Additionally, attorneys at Santa Fe Dreamers Project are expected to cooperate and collaborate with other organizations working in our community, including New Mexico Dream Team, Somos Un Pueblo Unido, New Mexico Immigrant Law Center, public schools, healthcare providers, and universities.  This may include collaborating on projects, providing trainings, hosting events, and other community-oriented activities.

United Way: Prenatal Education and Outreach Specialist

Position: Prenatal Education and Outreach Specialist

SUMMARY: This position provides culturally sensitive community outreach, organization of community events to families in Santa Fe County. The focus of this outreach and community engagement is to support women early in their pregnancy and includes, but is not limited to the following: non-traditional, grassroots outreach to Santa Fe’s most underserved families, identification of families to participate in appropriate United Way programs, and connecting families with appropriate resources (with a focus on connecting women early in their pregnancy to prenatal care). The Outreach Specialist must participate in relevant program activities, such as training and supervision. Extensive local travel is required and all activities must be documented in electronic and other files.

Santa Fe Collective Impact - Birth to Career Americorps VISTA position
POSITION SUMMARY: Each VISTA will have a focus area specific to the spectrum of Birth to Career including Early Childhood, Mentoring, Tutoring, Career Pathways, Disconnected Youth, Grant Writing, and Extended Learning. For their specific focus area the VISTA will: 1. Support collective impact partners in planning and implementation of collaborative community outreach, program coordination, and system improvement efforts. 2.Develop communication materials to advance understanding of the current birth to career related issues. 3. Assist with planning, outreach and implementation of community engagement activities. 4. Assist partners in implementing targeted community outreach activities and events for birth to programs including 5.Create and/or update multi-media community outreach tools. 6. Support providers and partners in recruiting or providing resource information to parents/families for the programs. 7. Support data collection, analysis and reporting. 8. Assist with development of evaluation tools.
